AI Model New Releases + Enhancements
Power Distribution Intelligence
New: C-Truss Detection (beta)
This initial beta release of C-truss detection identifies poles that may require replacement, aiding in proactive maintenance and improved infrastructure planning.
New: ATS Device Detection (beta)
This feature helps utilities flag ATS devices on cutouts, which is crucial during storm response for pinpointing fault locations and reducing downtime.
New: Open Bypass Switch Detection (beta)
Detect and flag open bypass switches in real-time, enhancing storm response workflows and expediting damage assessments.
Lighting Intelligence
New: Day burner detection
Identify streetlights that remain on during the day with an accuracy rate of 87%. This feature supports cost savings by improving energy efficiency.
New: NEMA socket detection (beta)
This model detects the presence of NEMA sockets on streetlights that can support IoT hardware upgrades, enabling smarter city solutions through compatible device mounting.
Improved: LED source classification
Enhanced classification improves the model’s ability to differentiate between low-profile HPS and LED lights with 93% accuracy, improving lighting audit results.
Inspect Cloud
The new version of Inspect Cloud is now fully operational and out of beta!
Improved: Smarter asset fusion for multiple vehicle passes
Asset fusion now merges images of the same asset using pole-top equipment characteristics and geolocation coordinates, significantly reducing duplicates compared to previous versions.
New: User labels
Users can add custom labels to flag critical issues or highlight features important to their workflows.
New: Search by lat/lon coordinates or address
The enhanced search bar allows users to quickly zoom into specific areas of interest using geographic coordinates or address information.
New: Customer asset matching + display
Import your GIS data to see IDs from your records matched to detected poles in our system, bridging the gap between pre-existing GIS records and Noteworthy’s asset databases. We also added the ability to overlay your GIS asset data in the Cloud application, making it easier to visualize gaps in data collection during a deployment. Red markers indicate unmatched assets, while orange markers represent matched detections.
New: Customer region boundary display
Visualize your operational regions by importing KML or similar geographic file formats directly into the Cloud application.
Improved: Filter feature functionality
Expanded filtering options now allow users to filter by region, first and last capture image dates, and user-added labels, streamlining data analysis.
Inspect Edge
New: Automatic over-the-air (OTA) stack updates
Customers no longer have to schedule dedicated times for software updates. We can now seamlessly push new software versions directly to your system, ensuring you always have the latest features and fixes with minimal disruption.
Improved: Optimized camera power settings
Resolved a power management issue that caused occasional camera dropouts. The system now offers improved camera stability and reliability for uninterrupted performance in the field.
Improved: Enhanced camera frame rates
Increased frame rates enable more image captures per asset, providing better coverage—especially when vehicles are traveling at higher speeds.
Improved: Streamlined OTA file upload process
Optimized the file upload process to ensure that queued files no longer delay camera system initialization. These processes now occur in parallel, reducing downtime and allowing the cameras to be operational sooner after vehicle startup.
Improved: Vehicle ignition status check
Ignition status checks are now more robust, requiring additional verification to prevent the stack from shutting down prematurely due to incorrect readings. This enhancement boosts overall system stability.
Bug fix: Incorrect image-to-asset association
Resolved an issue that occasionally caused images to be assigned to the wrong assets. Image-to-asset mapping is now more accurate and reliable.
